Granulated	100-950 mean particle size 540	General purpose, high quality, high purity, low toxicity, free-flowing sucrose. For glass forming, controlled dissolving and bulk e.g. medicated confectionary
Granulated BP/EP	450–950	A high quality, white granulated sugar,designed to meet the specific requirements of the British and European Pharmacopoeias
Coarse	800–2200	A bold sugar for visual impact and high shine
Medium	650–900	A versatile sugar for visual definition, high shine and surface texture e.g.medicated pastilles and jellies
Extrafine	200–600	Fine particle size - for ease of dissolution in hot and cold systems – low dust
Caster	150–450	Its tightly defined particle size makes our finest screened sugar the ideal choice where rapid dissolution is required.
Select Granulated	100–950 mean particle size 540	Consistent particle size – min 92% > 250 µm, max 2.5% > 1mm. The ideal choice where fast and controlled dissolving is required. Enhances functionality, appearance and texture of finished products

Silk BP/EP	2-24 (average 8)	Ultrafine particle size with very tightly controlled distribution. Mixes readily with syrups, fats and water to allow optimisation of viscosity, texture and ingredients during new product development. Excellent vehicle for heat-sensitive actives and non-cook applications e.g. nutraceutical and pharmaceutical chews. No free-flow anti-caking agents or other additives.
Directly Compressible (DC)	<10->1000	Conforms to BP for use in tableting. Broad particle size range for blending ingredients of different particle sizes to achieve uniform tablet weight, drug content & distribution, good solubility and dispersion and low tablet friability. Excellent flow characteristics for ease of handling. Enhances flavour and masks bitter notes.

Icing	3-110 (average 24)	A finely milled, high purity sugar with an average particle size of 24μm.
Powdered	7-250 (average 61)	Less finely milled than icing sugar, it offers efficient mixing properties enabling even dispersion of multi-components. Perfect for powdered drinks and dry mixes.
Ultrafine	10-530 (average 160)	A combination of milled sugar and small sugar crystals - combines well with other ingredients and provides dissolving properties ideal for hot and cold powdered drinks, dry mixes and remedies.

	Description/Application
Standard Liquid	High quality, homogeneous liquid providing ease of handling for automated production. Fine filters and UV sanitisation prior to despatch minimises the microbiological load. Available in bulk or pallecons and smaller quantities for production flexibility.
Standard Invert	Standard invert is just one example of many inverts available in a variety of delivery formats. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements. Invert inhibits crystallisation, increases shelf life, enhances fruit flavours. Viscosity reduction. Sweeter than pure sucrose – enables 10% reduction in carbohydrate component of formulation. Can replace glycerol as humectant, enhancing product flavour and texture.
